...GALE WARNING IN EFFECT FROM LATE SATURDAY NIGHT THROUGH SUNDAY

Synopsis: High pressure continues over the Chukchi Sea as low pressure moves over the Beaufort Sea resulting in northerly Gales near and south of Point Hope. Low pressure deepens over the Beaufort tonight and Sunday before tracking toward Banks Island Sunday night. Strong northeasterly winds develops across much of the eastern Arctic Coast through Sunday before backing northwesterly and decreasing Sunday night.
