Synopsis: A broad trough of low pressure extending from the Alaska Peninsula north over the Bering Strait will remain in place through early Monday. High pressure will build over the Bering Strait beginning Monday afternoon. A 980 mb low S of Atka this morning will weaken and move into the Gulf of Alaska by Tuesday afternoon. A 987 mb low will move to False Pass Monday night.
