Synopsis: A ridge in the Gulf of Alaska persists through today and
tomorrow and continues to drive onshore NW'rly flow. High
pressure, in addition to inland heating, will drive an increase
of winds to 20-25 kts during the daytime hours. This weather
pattern will lead to gusty winds in Lynn Canal, Cross Sound, Icy
Strait Corridor, near Cape Decision, and in southern Chatham
Strait. Wave heights up to 8 ft start to diminish after tomorrow
through the next several days.
