...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

Synopsis: A ridge in the Gulf of Alaska continues to drive onshore northwesterly winds. High pressure, in addition to inland heating, will drive an increase of winds to 20-25 kts during the daytime hours. This weather pattern will lead to gusty winds in Lynn Canal, Cross Sound, Icy Strait Corridor, near Cape Decision, and in southern Chatham Strait. As the ridge weakens Tuesday, expect winds and waves to gradually weaken as well.
