Marine Zone Forecast
Synopsis: An area of low pressure currently tracking southeastward,
passing south of Haida Gwaii, will cause a frontal rain band to
pass over the southeastern Gulf of Alaska & central & southern
Inner Channels from north to south through Friday evening. A
flat ridge of high pressure will pass over the eastern Gulf for
Friday night into Saturday morning. A frontal system approaches
& pushes into the eastern Gulf for Saturday night through the
rest of the weekend, bringing sustained winds of up to 25 to
30 kt for the southeastern Gulf, the Dixon Entrance, & into
Clarence Strait.
