Synopsis: A surface ridge remains over the panhandle through Thursday. An
area of low pressure moves into the eastern gulf Friday and
sends a front into the southern panhandle Friday night. The low
lingers in the southern gulf through the weekend bringing near
gale and gale force winds to southern marine waters.
