Flood Watches are in effect from through Saturday evening for all of central and southern SEAK and most of the northern panhandle. Flood Advisories are in effect for the Juneau area & around Ketchikan's Ward Lake.

An atmospheric river will continue to impact the panhandle through Saturday, bringing snow transitioning to heavy rain, as well as quickly rising freezing levels. Flooding is quite possible due the expected rainfall and abundant snowmelt. Additionally, strong wind gusts across the southern panhandle with the heavy rainfall could increase the risk for possible isolated landslides. Read more here... Read More >
