Synopsis: A front extending across the eastern the gulf will and northern
panhandle has caused increasing southerly winds through the
northern inner channels and has displaced the high pressure over
the southern inner channels. A surface low pressure center
developing off the northern gulf coast behind the front will
strengthen Thursday night, then track southward Friday, causing
a shift in wind directions.
