Once again, heavy rain and thunderstorms may produce flash flooding across the Mid-Atlantic region today. Flash flood watches are in effect, which includes the Philadelphia and Washington D.C. metro areas. Meanwhile, severe thunderstorms with damaging winds and large hail are possible from North Dakota into Minnesota. Finally, red flag warnings are in effect across several states in the West.
