Heavy rain could cause flash flooding in the Mid Mississippi Valley. Mountain snow will develop in the Rockies. Synopsis: PZZ500-081030- 249 PM PDT Fri May 7 2021 .Synopsis for the Central California Coast and Bays Including the Monterey Bay...Greater Farallones...and Cordell Bank National Marine Sanctuaries... Winds out of the northwest will continue to strengthen across the waters today into tonight, briefly tapering off early Saturday. The winds will then restrengthen later Saturday and remain elevated through the weekend. Gale force gusts are possible across much of the waters today, especially in the outer waters and across the North Bay and Big Sur coastal jets. Seas will be dominated by these wind driven waves though a very small northwest swell will also exist through the coming days. $$
