Synopsis: A front swinging through will bring strong winds across the Gulf, outer coastal waters and into the northern inner channels through this evening. Gales expected for northern Lynn Canal today. Seas building to 8 to 11 feet in the Gulf and outer coastal waters. Winds and seas will diminish overnight into Thursday before the next system brings elevated winds and seas on Friday.
