Detailed Forecast

Synopsis: High pressure in the Gulf of Alaska will persist for much of the week, bringing broad westerly to northwesterly winds and local sea breezes. A brief southeasterly shift Monday night for the northeast coast may bring showers, low clouds and low visibility. Winds for the southern coastal waters and near Cape Spencer into Cross Sound could become strong with elevated seas by later Tuesday or Wednesday as the gradient tightens.
