Synopsis: High pressure in the Gulf of Alaska will persist for much of the week, bringing broad west to northwesterly winds. A brief southeasterly shift Monday night for the northeast coast may bring showers, low clouds and low visibility. Winds for the southern coastal waters and near Cape Spencer into Cross Sound will increase with elevated seas by later Tuesday into Wednesday.
