Watching the Potential East Coast Storm Late This Week

Bitterly cold temperatures will persist across portions of the Plains, Great Lakes region and Northeast this week as a series of cold fronts moves across those regions. A weak system will track across the south this week with some wet weather. These systems may merge just off the east coast late this week. Meanwhile, ridge out west is resulting in air stagnation for the Pacific Northwest.
