A cold front approaches Thursday night and weakens across the region on Friday. A low pressure system develops off the coast of the Carolinas Friday night and rapidly deepens as it moves northward to southeast of Long Island Saturday. The strong low will move northeast into the Gulf of Maine Saturday night. High pressure then builds in from the west Sunday. $$
