Synopsis...GREATER FARALLONES...AND CORDELL BANK NATIONAL MARINE SANCTUARIES...

HIGH PRESSURE OVER THE EASTERN PACIFIC WILL MAINTAIN A STRONG SURFACE PRESSURE GRADIENT ACROSS THE COASTAL WATERS. STRONG NORTHERLY WINDS EXPECTED THROUGH MUCH OF THE WEEK WITH THE STRONGEST WINDS ANTICIPATED OVER THE OFFSHORE WATERS AND ALONG THE BIG SUR COAST. THE STRONG WINDS WILL PRODUCE A FRESH SWELL.

Tonight: W wind 23 to 29 km/h, with gusts as high as 50 km/h. Cloudy during the early evening, then gradual clearing.

Friday: W wind 23 to 32 km/h, with gusts as high as 47 km/h. Mostly sunny.

Friday Night: W wind 22 to 27 km/h decreasing to 14 to 19 km/h after midnight. Winds could gust as high as 40 km/h. Mostly cloudy during the early evening, then becoming clear.

Saturday: W wind 14 to 23 km/h. Sunny.

Saturday Night: WSW wind 16 to 23 km/h, with gusts as high as 29 km/h. Mostly clear.

Sunday: W wind 14 to 23 km/h. Sunny.

Sunday Night: WSW wind 14 to 23 km/h, with gusts as high as 34 km/h. Clear.

Monday: WSW wind 14 to 18 km/h becoming NW in the afternoon. Sunny.

Monday Night: WNW wind 13 to 18 km/h becoming WSW in the evening. Clear.
