...Thunderstorms possible over the coastal waters Thursday
afternoon through Thursday evening...

A potent upper-level low pressure system will bring the risk for
scattered thunderstorms over the coastal waters, especially
Thursday afternoon through Thursday evening.

Frequent cloud to water lightning strikes, localized heavy and
erratic waves and downpours could accompany any thunderstorm, as
well as waterspouts.

Mariners should seek safe harbor when thunderstorms are imminent.
