* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, northwest winds 10 to 20 kt
  with gusts up to 35 kt and waves 5 to 8 ft occurring. For the
  Gale Warning, south becoming northwest winds 20 to 30 kt with
  gusts up to 45 kt and waves 7 to 10 ft expected.

* WHERE...Huron Islands to Marquette MI.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 10 PM EST this
  evening. For the Gale Warning, from 7 AM Friday to 1 PM EST
  Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Central Lake
Superior...Eastern Lake Superior and Western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A few northwest gale force gusts to 35 knots are possible early
this evening across eastern Lake Superior.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

South to southwest gales of 35 to 45 knots develop across most of
Lake Superior Friday morning, strongest across the east half.
These winds become northwest 40 to 45 knots Friday night into

Heavy freezing spray is expected last Friday night through
Tuesday.
