SATURDAY...

* WHAT...West winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and waves
  4 to 7 ft occurring.

* WHERE...Lake Superior west of a line from Saxon Harbor WI to
  Grand Portage MN beyond 5NM.

* WHEN...Until 4 AM EST /3 AM CST/ Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
Remain in port, seek safe harbor, alter course, and/or secure the
vessel for severe conditions.

Northwest gales of 35 to 40 knots are expected across eastern Lake
Superior Saturday morning. See the latest Lake Superior Open Lake
Forecast and Marine Weather Message for further details.

North to northwest gales to 35 to 40 knots are expected across
much of Lake Superior, especially eastern Lake Superior, late
Sunday night and Monday.

time.
