...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 11 AM THIS MORNING TO
10 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...For the Dense Fog Advisory, dense fog will reduce
  visibility to 1 NM or less. For the Small Craft Advisory,
  southwest winds 10 to 20 kt with gusts up to 25 kt and waves 1
  to 4 ft expected.

* WHERE...Duluth MN to Port Wing WI and Port Wing to Sand Island
  WI.

* WHEN...For the Dense Fog Advisory, until 8 AM CDT this
  morning. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 11 AM this morning
  to 10 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft. Low
  visibility will make navigation difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Anyone operating a smaller vessel should avoid navigating in
hazardous conditions.

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
signals. Make sure all running lights are on. Remember to use
your radar and compass.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Dense fog is affecting most of the nearshore waters of western
Lake Superior this morning. Visibilities may be reduced to a
quarter mile or less at times, but should improve by 8 AM this
morning.

Southwest winds with gusts around 25 knots and waves dangerous to
smaller vessels are likely to develop this afternoon and early
evening. A Small Craft Advisory has been issued for late morning
into the evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Additional periods of gusty winds and waves dangerous to smaller
vessels are possible again on Saturday.

Gusty northeast winds and dangerous waves are forecast again
Monday afternoon through Tuesday.
