This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Lake Superior
and the Nearshore waters of western Lake Superior.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and Tonight

Areas of dense fog are expected through this afternoon.

Scattered rain and thunderstorms continue. Lightning and heavy
rainfall reducing visibility are the main threats this morning,
with small hail and wind gusts up to around 30 kt possible this
afternoon.

Northerly wind gusts to around 20 knots are possible
tonight near Grand Portage. There is a 20-40% chance that
conditions could be hazardous to smaller vessels.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Additional thunderstorms are possible at times early to middle of
next week.

* WHAT...Dense fog will reduce visibility to less than 1 NM.

* WHERE...Portions of Lake Superior.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Low visibility will make navigation difficult.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must navigate, proceed with caution. Use proper fog
