This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the nearshore waters from
Sheboygan Wisconsin to Winthrop Harbor Illinois.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Small Craft Advisory is in effect from 10 PM CST onward for
gusty southwesterly winds and building waves.

A Heavy Freezing Spray Warning is in effect for gusty winds,
elevated waves, and frigid temperatures combining to produce heavy
freezing spray late tonight into Wednesday morning.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Tuesday

A Small Craft Advisory remains in effect until 6 PM CST Wednesday
for breezy southwest winds and building waves. Isolated gales are
possible during the morning hours.

Gusty winds, elevated waves, and frigid temperatures will continue
to produce Heavy Freezing Spray Warning conditions Wednesday
morning.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...For the Small Craft Advisory, southwest winds 15 to 25
  kt with gusts up to 30 kt and waves 4 to 6 ft expected. For
  the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, heavy freezing spray at a
  rate of 2 cm per hour or greater expected, and may rapidly
  accumulate on vessels.

* WHERE...Nearshore Waters from Sheboygan to Winthrop Harbor IL.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, until 6 PM CST Wednesday.
  For the Heavy Freezing Spray Warning, from 3 AM to noon CST
  Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Operating a vessel in heavy freezing spray is
  hazardous. Freezing spray may render mechanical and electronic
  components inoperative. Rapid ice accretion on decks and
  superstructures may result in a catastrophic loss of
  stability. Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A few gale force gusts are possible
  Wednesday morning.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners should prepare for dangerous accumulation of ice on
their vessel. If possible, remain in port, avoid the warning area
or conduct mitigation.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.
