This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Southeast
Louisiana...South Mississippi and the adjacent coastal waters.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected today. A few of
the thunderstorms may be capable of producing gusty winds,
dangerous lightning and heavy downpours. Isolated heavy rainfall
could result in the localized flooding of low lying and urban
areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Scattered to numerous thunderstorms are expected each day during
the period. A few of the thunderstorms may become locally strong
and produce gusty winds, frequent lightning and torrential
rainfall.

...SCATTERED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE COASTAL WATERS...

  Chandeleur Sound...
  Coastal Waters from Boothville LA to Southwest Pass of the
  Mississippi River out 20 nm...
  Coastal Waters from Stake Island LA to Southwest Pass of the
  Mississippi River from 20 to 60 nm...
  Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island
  Louisiana out 20 to 60 NM...
  Coastal waters from Pascagoula Mississippi to Stake Island out 20
  NM...
  Mississippi Sound...

At 828 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated scattered strong
thunderstorms, capable of producing wind gusts of 20 to 30 knots.
These thunderstorms were located in a large area extending from the
eastern Mississippi Sound and Chandeleur Sound southward to 60 nm
east to southeast of Southwest Pass Of the Mississippi River.
Movement was north at 15 knots.

Locations impacted include...
Chandeleur Sound, Horn Island and Pascagoula.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds OF 20 TO 30 knots...locally higher
waves...and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until these storms pass.
