For the Small Craft Advisory, northeast winds 20 to 25 kt with gusts up to 30 kt and rough bay waters expected. * WHERE...Matagorda Bay and Galveston Bay. * WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until 10 AM CDT this morning. For the Small Craft Advisory, from 10 AM this morning to 1 PM CDT this afternoon. * IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous seas which could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds are expected to subside enough in the bays later this morning for a downgrade to a Small Craft Advisory after 10am. Winds will continue to decrease throughout the day. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Mariners should alter plans to avoid these hazardous conditions.
