Through 10 am, scattered showers with embedded thunderstorms will
move west to northwest at near 10 knots through the nearshore waters
of the Middle and Lower Keys and surrounding offshore waters.
Mariners encountering the stronger of the activity can expect
blinding downpours, wind gusts of near 25 knots, and occasional
lightning strikes. Island communities of the Middle and Lower Keys
could see up to half an inch of rainfall as showers pass through.
