.NOW...
Through 200 pm, a broken line showers associated with a cold frontal
passage will continue to push east to southeast at near 25 knots
across the coastal waters west of the Lower Keys, including the Dry
Tortugas. Mariners encountering this line can expect light to
moderate showers and a sudden wind shift to the northwest with near-
gale gusts at times. This line will reach the Marquesas Keys at
around 130 pm.

...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY IN EFFECT...

* WHAT...South to southwest winds near 20 knots, becoming west to
  northwest and increasing to 20 to 25 knots with gusts up to 30
  kt and seas building to 6 to 9 ft.

* WHERE...Straits of Florida, Hawk Channel, and Florida Bay and
  the nearshore Gulf waters.

* WHEN...In Effect.

* IMPACTS...A Small Craft Advisory means that wind speeds of 20
  to 33 knots, or seas of 7 feet or greater, are expected to
  produce hazardous conditions for small craft. These hazardous
  conditions may result in poor vessel handling and steering
  response, broaching, overturned dinghies and kayaks, slips and
  falls on slippery decks, rub damage along docks and seawalls,
  swamped bows at reef tract mooring balls, and dragging anchors.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced boaters, especially those with smaller vessels,
should avoid operating in these conditions.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Florida Keys and
adjacent coastal waters.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A late season cold front is bringing a threat for isolated to
scattered thunderstorms this morning and will continue through
the early afternoon. The main hazards will be frequent lightning,
heavy rainfall, and locally gusty winds. In addition, behind the
frontal passage strong breezes will surge across the region
beginning late this morning. As such a Small Craft Advisory is in
effect for the deep Gulf waters with Small Craft Advisory
conditions expected across the remaining waters by this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Fresh to strong breezes will continue into Friday with additional
Small Craft Advisories likely.

Otherwise, no other hazardous weather expected at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is not expected at this time.
