This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Florida Keys and
adjacent coastal waters.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are anticipated along the
Florida Keys and the adjacent nearshore and surrounding offshore
coastal waters.

The primary thunderstorm hazards will be cloud to surface
lightning strikes and strong gusty winds.

In addition, light to gentle winds combined with plenty of low
level moisture should allow wet cloud line genesis. Within these
large towering cumulus clouds with dark flat bases, there is a
good chance for waterspouts.

Remember, waterspouts can easily overturn small vessels. If you
sight a waterspout, determine the direction its moving and get
away.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY

Isolated to scattered thunderstorms are anticipated along the
island chain and the surrounding coastal waters.

The primary thunderstorm hazards will be cloud to surface
lightning strikes and gusty winds.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotters should keep a close look out for the possibility of
waterspouts. If you sight a waterspout, please call your National
Weather Service right here in Key West at 305 295 1316 then
select 3. Thank you.
