This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Florida Keys and
adjacent coastal waters.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

A late season cold front is bringing a threat for isolated to
scattered thunderstorms this morning and will continue through
the early afternoon. The main hazards will be frequent lightning,
heavy rainfall, and locally gusty winds. In addition, behind the
frontal passage strong breezes will surge across the region
beginning late this morning. As such a Small Craft Advisory is in
effect for the deep Gulf waters with Small Craft Advisory
conditions expected across the remaining waters by this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Fresh to strong breezes will continue into Friday with additional
Small Craft Advisories likely.

Otherwise, no other hazardous weather expected at this time.

  Hawk Channel and Straits of Florida from west end of Seven Mile
  Bridge to 20 nm west of Dry Tortugas out 20 nm...
  Gulf of Mexico from west end of Seven Mile Bridge to Halfmoon Shoal
  out to 5 fathoms...
  Gulf of Mexico including Dry Tortugas and Rebecca Shoal Channel...
  Gulf Waters from East Cape Sable to Chokoloskee 20 to 60 nm out and
  beyond 5 fathoms...

* Until 500 AM EDT.

* At 409 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located 8 nm southeast of
  Fort Jefferson, moving east at 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, suddenly higher
           waves, frequent lightning, and heavy downpours.

* Locations in the warning include...
  Fort Jefferson, Rebecca Shoal Light, Halfmoon Shoal Light, Tortugas
  Ecological Reserve South, and Dry Tortugas Light.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare for wind gusts in excess of 34 knots, steep and fast-building
seas, frequent lightning, and blinding downpours. Stay low or go
below, and make sure all on board are wearing life jackets.
