.NOW...
Through 400 pm, widely scattered showers and a few isolated
thunderstorms will continue to wax and wane as they move generally
northeast to east at near 10 knots across the deep Gulf water and the
island chain and its nearshore waters. The stronger portions of this
activity will be capable of bouts of moderate to heavy rainfall
limiting visibility, wind gusts up to 25 to 30 knots, and an
occasional lightning strike.
