This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

A Flood Watch for flash flooding is in effect across portions of
the southern DC metro through 11 PM tonight.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms move across the
area this evening into tonight. Heavy rainfall could result in
isolated instances of flooding in the urban centers.

Special Marine Warnings may be required for any strong
thunderstorms through late this evening.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

A few instances of flash flooding are possible, especially over
the Baltimore/Washington DC metro areas and in areas that see
repetitive rounds of slow-moving thunderstorms through Thursday.
