Sustained tropical storm force winds are most likely over these areas. A Gale Warning is in in effect for the Chesapeake Bay and adjoining estuaries north of North Beach MD, and the tidal Potomac River from Key Bridge to Cobb Island MD. A Wind Advisory is in effect until 8 PM this evening. Gusty winds and saturated grounds will result in downed trees. A Coastal Flood Warning is in effect for St. Mary`s County through 2 AM tonight. Moderate to major tidal flooding is expected. Additionally, Coastal Flood Warnings are in effect through tonight for the shoreline of Washington DC, Arlington and the City of Alexandria, and Anne Arundel County for moderate tidal flooding. A Flood Watch for flash flooding is in effect for the I-95 corridor from Fredericksburg VA to Baltimore MD. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday The Flood Watch is in effect until 8 AM Sunday. Tropical Storm Warnings continue for Calvert and St. Mary`s Counties, over the Chesapeake Bay south of North Beach MD, and the lower tidal Potomac River southeast of Cobb Island MD on Sunday. Sustained tropical storm force winds are most likely over these areas. Coastal Flood Warnings continue through early Sunday morning across the shoreline of Washington DC, Arlington and the City of Alexandria, and Anne Arundel County. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
