This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Maryland portion of the
Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A Low Water Advisory is in effect for upper tidal Potomac until 7
PM tonight.

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the entire area starting
later this evening and continuing overnight. Significant snow and
sleet accumulations are expected along with ice accumulation from
freezing rain. The impacts may lead to significant travel delays,
closures, and threats to life and property.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the entire area through
Sunday night. Significant snow and sleet accumulations are
expected along with ice accumulation from freezing rain. The
impacts may lead to significant travel delays, closures, and
threats to life and property.

Dangerously cold wind chills are also possible at times through
most of next week.
