Chesapeake Bay, Tidal Potomac River, and I-95 corridor through
central Maryland, northern Virginia, and District of Columbia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect this morning for counties
bordering the Chesapeake Bay.

A Gale Warning is in effect for all waters today into tonight.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

No hazardous weather is expected at this time.

...BLOWOUT TIDES TODAY...

Strong northerly winds will result in water levels of 1 to 2 feet
below mean lower low water around low tide today for the
Chesapeake Bay and adjoining waters north of North Beach. Low
tide will be 7:51 AM at Annapolis, 9:21 AM at Baltimore Fort
McHenry, and 12:54 PM at Havre de Grace.

Mariners should check navigation charts. Be careful not to ground
your vessel, particularly when boating away from the main channel.

  Advisory, northwest winds 15 to 20 kt with gusts up to 30 kt
  and waves 2 to 4 ft expected.

* WHERE...Chesapeake Bay north of Drum Point MD, Chester River
  to Queenstown MD, Patuxent River to Broomes Island MD,
  Choptank River to Cambridge MD and the Little Choptank River,
  Tidal Potomac from Cobb Island MD to Smith Point VA, and
  Eastern Bay.

* WHEN...For the Gale Warning, until midnight EST tonight. For
  the Small Craft Advisory, from midnight tonight to 6 AM EST
  Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Strong winds will cause hazardous waves which could
  capsize or damage vessels.
