Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter. .Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible. .Wind...Breezy conditions. Unsecured items could blow around. .Excessive Heat...Heat index 102-107 degrees across Vieques and Culebra. Heat exhaustion possible with prolonged exposure. .Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution across the Atlantic waters and passages. .Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the surf zone particularly along the northern and northeastern beaches of PR and Culebra. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday A wet and unstable weather pattern is expected to persist through early next week. A series of troughs will promote thunderstorms and excessive rainfall across the area, enhancing the potential for flooding across the islands. Wind-driven seas and a subsiding northerly swell will maintain hazardous conditions to small crafts and life-threatening rip currents through today. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
