This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms are possible across much of
Puerto Rico today. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be
prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Wind...Breezy conditions. Unsecured items could blow around.

.Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 7 feet across
the Atlantic waters and passages. Hazardous conditions for small
craft.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone particularly for the beaches along the west, north, and
east coasts of the islands.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A wet and unstable weather pattern is expected to persist through
early next week. A series of troughs will promote thunderstorms
and excessive rainfall across the area, enhancing the potential
for mudslides, flooding and river rises across the region. Wind-
driven seas and a subsiding northerly swell will maintain
hazardous conditions to small crafts and life-threatening rip
currents through at least Thursday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.
