This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Numerous thunderstorms possible across the interior
and west. Plan to stop all outdoor activity and move to shelters.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads,and small
streams. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects most individuals
sensitive to heat, especially those without effective cooling
or adequate hydration. Impacts possible in some health systems
and in heat-sensitive industries.

.Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution across
the offshore Atlantic and Anegada Passage.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone particularly along the north and east, and Culebra.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

Warm-to-hot conditions will continue throughout the forecast
period. Thunderstorm activity, particularly in the afternoon,
could produce strong gusty winds, frequent lightning, and flooding
impacts each day. Swells from distant storms will generate life-
threatening rip currents and hazardous marine conditions by the
end of the workweek into the weekend.
