Stay alert and be prepared to take shelter if storms develop. .Excessive Rainfall...Flooding in urban areas, roads, small streams, and washes, particularly across western Puerto Rico. There is a low chance of isolated flash floods. Elsewhere, plan for water ponding on roads and in poorly drained areas. .Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. These conditions are most likely across all coastal areas of Puerto Rico. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday An elevated excessive heat threat will return from Tuesday through Friday across most lower elevations of PR. Isolated thunderstorms are expected each afternoon over portions of the interior and western PR. Breezy conditions and a moderate risk of rip currents will prevail through the workweek. A tropical wave is expected to increase shower and thunderstorm activity by midweek. A dense Saharan Air Layer will return on Thursday, promoting hazy skies and reduced visibilities through the weekend. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT... Spotter activation will not be needed. $$
