This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Numerous thunderstorms possible during the afternoon.
Plan to stop all outdoor activity and move to shelters.

.Excessive Rainfall...Life-threatening flash flooding, possibly
entering structures and cutting off neighborhoods. Mainly north of
the Cordillera Central.

.Excessive Heat...Heat index 102-105 degrees across the northern
coastal sections of Puerto Rico. Heat exhaustion possible with
prolonged exposure.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly from Aguada to Fajardo.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Excessive rainfall is expected Saturday through Monday--mostly in
interior portions of Puerto Rico. Some flash flooding possible,
with urban and small stream flooding likely. Ponding in low-lying
areas expected Tuesday and Wednesday. A moderate risk of rip
currents is expected most days. A limited risk of excessive heat
is expected along the northern coastal regions each day.


Spotter activation will not be needed.
