This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible across
western Puerto Rico. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and
be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Ponding of water in roads and poorly
drained areas across western Puerto Rico. Flooding, if any, will
be localized to areas that can experience rapid runoff with heavy

.Excessive Heat...Heat index 102-106 degrees across mainly
northern and parts of the west coast. Heat exhaustion possible
with prolonged exposure.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly northern Puerto Rico eastern and
southeastern Puerto Rico Vieques and Culebra.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

A moderate risk of rip currents is expected for most beaches
during the period. Scattered thunderstorms will pose a lightning
risk Sunday night and Monday.


Spotter activation will not be needed.
