This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone for most north facing and eastern beaches of Puerto
Rico, Culebra and Vieques.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday

Moderate to high risk of rip currents will continue for the next
several days for several beaches. There is also the risk of heat
index values surpassing 102 degrees across portions of the north
and south coastal areas for the next several days. Afternoon
showers and isolated thunderstorms may lead to ponding of water
on roads and in poor drainage areas, with minor urban and small
stream flooding possible in isolated areas. Unstable conditions
and an increase in tropical moisture may lead to increased shower
and thunderstorm activity early next week, increasing the risk for


Spotter activation will not be needed.
