This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Thunderstorms: Isolated thunderstorms are possible into the evening
hours, primarily near the East Coast metro and over Atlantic waters.
A few storms may be strong to severe and would be capable of
producing damaging winds, hail, frequent lightning, and heavy rain.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Heat indices of 103 to 107 degrees will be possible on Sunday,
before finally beginning to drop to around 100 next week.

Strong to severe thunderstorms are possible on Sunday, especially
across the east coast metro. Large hail and damaging wind gusts will
be the primary threats. Additional thunderstorms are possible each
day next week, with the highest chances during the afternoon and
early evening hours.

The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM...
  Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20
  NM...
  Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM
  excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas...
  Waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 845 PM EDT.

* At 755 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing
  waterspouts was located 24 nm east of Ocean Ridge, moving east at
  20 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
           hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Ocean Ridge, Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, Palm Beach, Hypoluxo,
  Lighthouse Point, Hillsboro Beach, Gulf Stream, Delray Beach, Boca
  Raton, Highland Beach, South Palm Beach, Sea Ranch Lakes,
  Manalapan, Briny Breezes, Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach, and Fort
  Lauderdale.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Thunderstorms can produce sudden waterspouts. Waterspouts can easily
overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Seek safe harbor
immediately.

Frequent lightning is occurring with this storm. If caught on the
open water stay below deck if possible, keep away from ungrounded
metal objects.
