The National Weather Service in Miami has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL out 20 NM...
  Coastal waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL out 20
  NM...
  Waters from Deerfield Beach to Ocean Reef FL from 20 to 60 NM
  excluding the territorial waters of Bahamas...
  Waters from Jupiter Inlet to Deerfield Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM...

* Until 300 PM EDT.

* At 214 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing
  waterspouts were located along a line extending from 8 nm east of
  Ocean Ridge to 13 nm east of Hillsboro Beach, moving northeast at
  30 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and small
           hail.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally
           hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly
           higher winds and suddenly higher waves.

* Severe thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor until hazardous weather passes.

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms to numerous are possible
today, which will bring threats of gusty winds, frequent lightning,
and heavy rainfall and localized flooding.

Waterspouts: A few waterspouts are possible today over the local
waters.

Rip Currents: There will be a moderate risk of rip currents over the
beaches of Palm Beach County.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday.

Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms remain possible each
day through early next week.

Peak heat indices will likely exceed 100 degrees early next week
with localized values approaching 105 degrees.
