This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Tonight.

Flooding: Slow moving showers and thunderstorms may result in
localized flooding concerns across portions of Palm Beach County and
Collier County through the evening.

Thunderstorms: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected to
develop today with the best chances being over Interior and SW
Florida. Lightning, gusty winds, and locally heavy rainfall will be
threats with any storms.

Rip Currents: There is a high risk for rip currents along the
Palm beaches today and a moderate risk of rip currents along the
remainder of the east coast beaches.

Temperatures: Peak heat indices of 100 to 105 degrees will be
possible this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

Scattered thunderstorms will develop on Saturday. Numerous showers
and thunderstorms will be possible Sunday through the middle of next
week. There will be a risk of heavy rainfall and flooding next week
as a disturbance develops in the Gulf of Mexico and shifts eastward
towards the Florida Peninsula by the middle of next week.

Peak indices will likely reach the triple digits again on Saturday.

The risk for rip currents will remain elevated for the Atlantic
beaches this weekend into early next week as onshore flow persists
and northerly swell builds in.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Weather spotters are encouraged to report high wind, hail, and
flooding to the National Weather Service forecast office in Miami.
