This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for east central Florida.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

.DENSE FOG/SMOKE IMPACT...
Patchy dense fog is forecast across east central Florida this
morning. If encountering patchy dense fog while driving, slow
down and leave extra driving distance in front of you. Fog should
dissipate shortly after sunrise.

.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
A moderate risk of life-threatening rip currents exists at all
central Florida Atlantic beaches. Always swim near a lifeguard
and never enter the water alone.

.WIND AND SEA IMPACT...
South winds increase to 15 to 20 knots across the offshore
Volusia and offshore Brevard waters late this afternoon. Small
craft should exercise caution late this afternoon.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
At least a moderate to high risk of rip currents is expected into
late week. Large breaking waves and rough surf are forecast into
the weekend.

The passage of a strong cold front is forecast to result in poor
to hazardous boating conditions Wednesday through late week.

Scattered to numerous showers and isolated lightning storms are
forecast Wednesday as the cold front moves across central
Florida. An occasional stronger storm could be capable of wind
gusts up to 50 mph.

Cold temperatures return Thursday morning behind the front.
Morning lows are forecast in the upper 30s to mid 40s west of I-
95 and along the Volusia Coast. Wind chills could fall into the
30s across much of east central Florida.

Minor beach erosion will be possible around times of high tide
this weekend and into early next week.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
Spotter activation will not be needed today and tonight.
