...Showers with Occasional Lightning Strikes This Evening...

Light to moderate rainfall remaining from earlier strong convection
will continue this evening across the far interior, over Lake and
portions of Orange county. Dangerous lightning strikes persist
within this activity, thus it is important to remain indoors if you
hear thunder, even if it isn`t raining or the rain is light.

Elsewhere, isolated showers and thunderstorms over Lake Okeechobee
are advancing northward into Okeechobee and Martin counties, with
additional isolated activity over the Atlantic waters. Showers and
thunderstorms will gradually subside tonight, with temperatures at
sunset in the low 80s.
