The National Weather Service in Jacksonville has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20
  NM...
  Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60
  NM...

* Until 1215 PM EDT.

* At 1047 AM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located over Atlantic
  Beach, or 26 nm north of Saint Augustine, moving east at 35 knots.

  HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Casablanca Reef, Tournament Reef, Anna Reef, Nassau Sound Approach
  Buoy 6a and Saint Johns Lighted Buoy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

  Coastal waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL out 20
  NM...
  Waters from Altamaha Sound GA to Fernandina Beach FL from 20 to 60
  NM...
  Waters from Fernandina Beach to St. Augustine FL from 20 to 60
  NM...

At 1025 AM EDT, showers and isolated thunderstorms will move
offshore from Brunswick to Guana River through noon. Recent
observations reported wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots with this
activity. Locally higher winds, waves and lightning are expected.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Mariners can expect gusty winds to around 30 knots, locally higher
waves, and lightning strikes. Boaters should seek safe harbor
immediately until this storm passes.
