.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Severe Thunderstorms: A few severe storms with damaging wind gusts
and frequent cloud to water lightning are possible today. Large hail
and even an isolated waterspout cannot be ruled out with the
strongest storms.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday.

There is a low probability for widespread hazardous weather.

* WHEN...Until 8 PM EDT this evening.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

...WATERSPOUTS POSSIBLE THIS MORNING ACROSS THE NEARSHORE WATERS
FROM THE ALTAMAHA RIVER GEORGIA NORTH TO EDISTO ISLAND SOUTH
CAROLINA...

Doppler Radar detected a line of showers and thunderstorms across
the nearshore waters of Georgia and lower South Carolina. These
showers and thunderstorms were developing in an environment
suitable for the rapid formation of waterspouts. Mariners should
remain alert for the potential for waterspouts this morning,
especially before 10 AM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If waterspouts occur, move your boat away from the waterspout.
Remember that waterspouts can develop rapidly and produce winds
and seas that are dangerous for vessels and everyone onboard.

Report waterspouts via social media or by calling the National
Weather Service at 1-888-383-2024.
