...SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST
TUESDAY...

* WHAT...North winds 15 to 25 kt with gusts up to 35 kt and seas
  5 to 8 ft.

* WHERE...The coastal waters from Oregon Inlet to Ocracoke Inlet.

* WHEN...Until noon EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Conditions will be hazardous to small craft.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced mariners, especially those operating smaller
vessels, should avoid navigating in hazardous conditions.

...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 430 AM EST...

For the following areas...
S of Cape Hatteras NC to Ocracoke Inlet NC out to 20 nm...
S of Oregon Inlet NC to Cape Hatteras NC out to 20 nm...
Waters from Cape Hatteras to Ocracoke Inlet NC from 20 to 40 nm...
Waters from Oregon Inlet to Cape Hatteras NC from 20 to 40 nm...

At 330 AM EST, an area of low pressure was located 25 nm southeast
of Cape Lookout, moving northeast at 30 knots. Widespread showers
and occasional thunderstorms accompanying the low will
continue producing gusty winds.

HAZARD...Wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Buoy. These showers and thunderstorms have a history of
         producing wind gusts in excess of 40 knots.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves.

Showers will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek safe shelter...mariners can expect gusty winds and increasing
waves.
