This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated thunderstorms possible across the islands
and local waters. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and be
prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects primarily those
individuals extremely sensitive to heat, especially when outdoors
without effective cooling and/or adequate hydration.

.Marine Conditions...Seas equal or greater than 7 feet across
the Atlantic Offshore Waters late this afternoon. Hazardous
conditions for small craft.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone particularly along the north and east facing beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

Swells from distant Kirk will maintain a moderate to high risk of
rip currents across the north and east facing beaches of the
islands through the period. Hazardous marine conditions will
persist through at least early next week. Above normal heat
conditions will continue throughout the forecast period.
Afternoon thunderstorm activity could produce gusty winds, and
urban and small stream flooding each day.

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.
