This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible across
northwestern Puerto Rico. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area
and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects anyone without
effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in
some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and
infrastructure.

.Marine Conditions...Small craft should exercise caution across
the local Atlantic waters.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are likely in the
surf zone particularly along the beaches from Rincon to Fajardo
and Culebra..

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Fading northerly swell will maintain a moderate risk of rip
currents across the north and east facing beaches of the islands
through early next week. Excessive heat conditions will continue
each day in the lower elevations of the islands through midweek
next week. Afternoon thunderstorm can produce strong gusty winds
and urban/small stream flooding over western PR through Sunday.
