This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters,
southeast Florida, southern Florida, southwest Florida and Gulf of
Mexico.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Heat: Heat indices may reach around 105 to 110 degrees across South
Florida. A Heat Advisory is in effect for portions of the area.

Thunderstorms: Scattered thunderstorms are expected today, with
coverage peaking in the afternoon. Slow moving storms could result in
localized flooding, particularly for urban areas.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday.

Scattered thunderstorms will be possible each day. The strongest
storms could produce gusty winds and heavy downpours. Slow storm
motions could also result in localized flooding.

Heat indices over 100 degrees will be possible each day, with values
up to 110 possible for the western interior through the remainder of
the weekend and into early next week.

flooding to the National Weather Service forecast office in Miami.
