This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for the Florida Keys and
adjacent coastal waters.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

Atmospheric conditions will be favorable for waterspouts today
and early this evening across the nearshore waters around the
Keys island chain. Waterspouts tend to form beneath lines of
building cumulus clouds, just at the hint of rain. Waterspouts can
easily flip boats, and should be avoided always.

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible today and tonight. The
primary hazards will be lightning strikes and locally gusty
winds.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday.

.NOW...
Through 400 pm, isolated showers will track slowly eastward at 5 mph,
through island chain from Big Pine Key to Islamorada, as well as the
surrounding nearshore waters. The stronger cells will produce wind
gusts of 20 to 25 mph, reduce visibility in heavy rain, and possibly
a few lightning strikes. A few island locations may receive one
quarter to one half of an inch of rain.
